在过去的 18 年里，Nonis老师一直在新加坡及上海等地致力于0-6岁儿童的学前教育工作。 本科获得理学学士学位，她很快意识到自己的热情更多在于课堂教学;于是她继续深造，获得了学前教育教学，及幼儿演讲与戏剧艺术的执教资格，并在澳大利亚莫纳什大学取得政策及变革专 业的教育硕士学位。 此前在上海国际双语幼儿园工作的一段经历中，她有幸以联席校长的身份参与了其第二校区的建设，打造并建立了一个全新的教育教学团队，将学校发展成为一个繁荣、温暖且为幼儿学生提供了极具安全性的学习与发展的空间。她对探究式教学的浓厚兴趣促使她进一步探索、参与到IB 项目的教学工作中，并较终将她带到了苏州伊顿外籍人员子女学校，担任学前教育部主任一职。Nonis老师坚持以学生为本，给予学前儿童探索与创造的自由，并充分肯定接纳不同观点与想法的重要性。她致力于与家庭建立牢固的伙伴关系，努力激发学生较大的潜质与才能，让他们成为较好的自己。 Ms. Nonis has worked with children aged 0 – 6 years for the past 18 years in Singapore and Shanghai. Despite graduating with Bachelor of Science degree, she quickly realised that her passion lay in the classroom. From there she went on to obtain qualifications in Preschool Teaching and Speech & Drama for young learners as well as a Master's degree in Education Specialising in Leadership, Policy and Change from Monash University in Australia. Over her years with a bilingual preschool in Shanghai, she had the privilege of being involved in the set-up of their second campus as co-Principal, working to build and guide a brand-new team and grow the school into a thriving, warm, safe space for students to learn and develop. Her keen interest in inquiry-based learning pushed her to exploring and engaging in IB courses, which eventually led her to EtonHouse International School, Suzhou as Early Years Coordinator. Ms. Nonis believes in student-centred learning, the freedom for children to explore and create, as well as the importance of being able to appreciate differing views and ideas. She strives to build strong partnerships with families in an effort to bring out the best in students.
