Springer老师本科毕业于澳大利亚莫纳什大学(Monash University)应用化学与物理专 业，后于学府墨尔本大学(University of Melbourne)取得了教师资格以及环境工程专 业的硕士学位，并开始教授化学与物理学科，在澳大利亚、马来西亚以及中国拥有超过25年的一线科研及教学工作经验。曾任职于大型跨国企业，从事医疗及科学仪器相关工作，他擅长将较真实的科学带入课堂，分享并启发学生们。目前他是苏州外籍人员子女学校IB部高中化学及小学科学专任教师，擅长IB及IGCSE科学及数学科目教学。 他善于通过解剖分析问题的相关性来引导并鼓励学生学以致用，将所学的理科知识与技能应用到实际问题解决中。作为中学部教学主任，他致力于进一步推进老师们对相应学科的基础概念及探究教学法的推广。 Mr. Springer has more than 25 years of technical and scientific training and teaching experience in Australia, Malaysia and China. His educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science degree with majors in Chemistry and Physics from Monash University in Melbourne, a Graduate Diploma in Education qualified to teach Chemistry and Physics, and a Master degree in Environmental Engineering – the latter two courses studied at the University of Melbourne, Australia. After working for pharmaceutical, medical and scientific instrumentation multinational corporations, he has brought real-world industrial experience to the classroom. Mr. Springer inspires students to learn and apply knowledge and analytical skills in science and mathematics classes by demonstrating the relevance of the problem that needs to be solved. In his role as Middle Years Programme Coordinator(MYPC) at EtonHouse International School Suzhou, his focus is to drive teachers to deliver concept and inquiry-based lessons.
